Minimum coaching qualifications, coach-to-player ratios and a shared technical curriculum, so a player receives comparable instruction at any licensed academy.
Player development
Age-appropriate training loads, long-term development guidelines and bio-banded competition that put the child’s development ahead of short-term results.
Safeguarding & welfare
A single SafeSport standard — screening, certification and conduct — that every member academy must meet as a condition of its licence.
Financial accountability & oversight
DescriptionFinancial reporting, record-keeping and responsible financial practices, with BCSAA oversight to help ensure member academies remain accountable, transparent and financially well managed.
Operations & facilities
Facilities, equipment, first aid, insurance and administration, so families can expect a consistent standard of care off the pitch as well as on it.
